The wickedly funny and terrifically creative Erin Strother used two of my favorite semi-precious stones in her laid-back Citrine and Amethyst Necklace for today’s Monday Make. Citrine represents optimism and joy; amethyst represents stability, intuition, and peace. That’s a pretty nice balance if you ask me!

To celebrate the beginning of summer…

one lucky reader is going to get a strand of amethyst and citrine semi-precious stone beads sent straight to her house!

To enter to win these strands, leave a comment on this post before midnight on Wednesday, June 8! On Friday, June 10, I’ll post the winner’s name on the blog!

Now, let’s get to this week’s Monday Make: Erin Strother’s Citrine & Amethyst Necklace.

To make this project, you’ll need:

And you’ll also need the usual suspects: crimping pliers, 2 chain nose pliers, and wire cutters.Halcraft Pin amethyst citrine
