DIY Jewelry Saturday – Folk Patchwork – Summer 2015 chic hippy style has carried over into Fall/Winter 2015 manifesting into the folk patchwork trend.  We are seeing a seventies influence with luxurious, loose fitting shapes.

The “Golden Glow” layered necklaces.  This necklace was handcrafted using Bead Gallery® stone luster nuggets and orange glass mixed lentils,  The findings and chain are a bright copper tone.  All of the materials in this design can be purchased at your local Michaels store.

Our next designs are the “Earthen Necklace and Bracelets.”  This necklace was handcrafted using Bead Gallery® jet mix glass 6mm round, white howlite stone rondelles, amber glass cloudy round 8mm, silver plated medium round beads, silver plated small rondelle, dyed quartzite ruby round 10mm and acrylic horn with metal pendant.  If you can form a simple knot, you can make this necklace!  All of the materials in this design can be purchased at your local Michaels store.
