Monday Make :: Leather & Turquoise Wrap Bracelet
Turquoise is one of my favorite bead materials, and I know I’m not alone.
Turquoise Bead Gallery® beads (whether they’re the color turquoise or the material turquoise) from Michaels are some of Halcraft’s best sellers. There’s just something hopeful about the turquoise color, a little more intense than the color of a robin’s egg.
Today’s Monday Make gives you a useful technique that you can use on not just this project, but many others. By the end of this tutorial you’ll know how to incorporate leather into your jewelry designs as a replacement for part of one of our favorite closures: the toggle clasp.
The leather & turquoise wrap bracelet is a project that anyone can make, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned beader. If turquoise isn’t your thing, you can just swap out the turquoise rounds for another bead–or a mix of beads–of your choice! The same goes for the charms I added at the end. They’re a great way to personalize your piece.
Let’s get this Monday Make started!
