DIY Necklace Saturday

DIY Necklace Saturday – Today is DIY Necklace Saturday and we are going back to basics.  We have two beginner simple knotted necklaces that anyone who can form an overhand knot can create.

Our first necklace is titled “Arrow.” This necklace was handcrafted using Bead Gallery® metal/reconstituted stone pendant, turquoise dyed howlite arrows and aqua glass mix 6mm round.  Our cording is brown and the clasp is an antique silver tone. All materials for this project can be purchased at your local Michaels stores.

Our second project is a longer simple knotted necklace titled “Turquoise Sunset.”  This is a true beginner project with no clasp, just a simple knot to finish the design.  Long necklaces are trending this Fall/Winter 2015-16.  Mix and match layers, textures, and colors to create a personalized look.  This necklace was created using Bead Gallery® turquoise dyed howlite drop pendant, red bracciated jasper 6mm stone, turquoise dyed howlite chips, dyed fire agate 8mm round stone and silver-plated medium round beads.  The cording is brown toned.  All materials for this necklace can be purchased at your local Michaels store.
